Updating the Creator Kit

Creator Kit updates come through the Epic Games Launcher (EGS), like updates of any other EGS item. Each release has a Changelog entry that tells you what changed and whether your mods need to be re-packaged.

Updates do not touch your QZSim\Mods folder, so your mods stay as they are.

Do I need to re-package my mods?

Each changelog entry states at the top whether mods must be re-packaged.

After a breaking game update you must re-package with the updated kit and re-upload the file. The mod.io page and its subscribers are kept. See Packaging & publishing.
